memybike is an Apple Watch app that flashes a bright signal on your watch screen when you swing your arm out to indicate a turn while cycling. Your privacy matters, and the app is built to need as little as possible.
memybike does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services. Nothing you do in the app leaves your device.
The app reads your Apple Watch motion sensors to detect the arm-swing gesture that triggers the flashing signal. This motion data is processed in real time, entirely on your device. It is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
To keep the app awake and the screen active during a ride, memybike can start an Apple workout session through HealthKit. This runs only on your device. memybike does not read your health or fitness information, and does not send any health, workout, or motion data off your device or to any third party. Any workout record created by the session is stored solely in Apple Health on your own device, under your control, and you can delete it there at any time.
None. memybike has no servers and makes no network connections.
memybike does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
